It’s a long way to Tipperary, or so the saying goes. We discovered that the road to Killarney is even further but it was well worth the ride. We enjoyed the Ireland BikeFest weekend held at the Gleneagles Hotel in Killarney and once again we were drenched in sunshine.
We were treated to some of the most incredible scenary around the Dingle Pennisula and for others, the Ring of Kerry. We travelled down with our own H.O.G Chapter, the Belfast Chapter and it was great to bump into friends from the Dublin based Gaelic Chapter, and the Waterford based Celtic Thunder Chapter. All three Chapters but in alot of hard work to help both Dublin Harley-Davidson and Waterford Harley-Davidson dealerships pull of a cracker weekend.
Rides out across the weekend, a custom bike show which was judged by funny man John Bishop, technical tents, merchandise tents, H-D Demo fleet ride-outs, all were manned by Chapter members and H-D staff to make sure that the thousands of visitors got the best out of the weekend.
Of course, not to forget that there was live music and entertainment each night inlcuding tributes to Guns ‘n’ Roses and AC/DC.
