HOG-POD had it’s first on-location shoot last weekend at the Belfast City Distinguished Gentlemans Ride 2024. It was an incredible day that had both of us darting across the city of Belfast to try and keep ahead of the nearly 300 motorcycles that ended up on the run.
A huge amount of work done by Chris Martin, the organiser, and his team made this day as enjoyable as it was. Thankfully, the sun split the sky which really top things off.
The ride began at the Cathedral Gardens, next door to St Annes Cathedral before heading off through the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast. Looping around the City Hall, the ride headed up towards Stranmillis where there was a stop and refresh.
The ride then headed to the grounds of Stormont, Northern Ireland’s Assembly and seat of power before making it’s final leg to the Bullitt Hotel. The Bullitt is the main local sponsor of the Belfast DGR and laid on drinks and some food for everyone in attendance.
